Our annual fundraising raffles are a cornerstone of our sustainability efforts. These events bring the community together while raising vital funds to support our programs throughout the year.
Raffle prizes are generously donated by local businesses and community members, ranging from gift baskets and sporting equipment to services and experiences. Every ticket purchased directly supports children in need of skating opportunities.
Tickets are affordable and available for purchase at the rink, through volunteers, and at community events. Winners are announced at special community gatherings, creating excitement and celebration throughout Keremeos.

Community Skate Days
Community Skate Days are special events designed to bring families together for fun, connection, and celebration. These free events welcome everyone in the community, regardless of whether they're program participants or regular rink users.
These gatherings often feature music, hot chocolate, games, and sometimes special appearances or demonstrations. They create a welcoming atmosphere where children can make new friends and families can connect with neighbors.
Community Skate Days also serve as awareness events, helping more families learn about our programs and how we can support children in need of skating opportunities.

Season Opening Celebration
We kick off each skating season with a special opening day celebration featuring free skating, entertainment, and information about our programs for the upcoming season.

During the holiday season, we host a festive skating event complete with decorations, holiday music, treats, and sometimes a visit from Santa Claus himself.
Skills Showcase
Children who participate in skating lessons have the opportunity to demonstrate their progress and new skills at our annual Skills Showcase, celebrating their achievements.
Volunteer Appreciation Night
We celebrate our dedicated volunteers with a special appreciation event, recognizing the invaluable contributions they make to our organization and community.
